Gokyo to Everest Base Camp trek starts from a short flight to Lukla from Kathmandu and follow the path to Phakding. Phakding lies at the bank of Dudhkoshi River, where we stay for an overnight. Walking along the river bank until we cross the highest suspension bridge before stepping into the uphill forest. Top Dada is the point from where we can see the first view of Mt. Everest just before reaching Namche checkpoint. Namche Bazaar is the trading town of Khumbu. In Namche, we visit the Sherpa Museum, seeing the equipment, clothes and reading the history of Everest ascenders. Explore the Khumjung village. Sip coffee at Everest View Hotel marveling at the mountains.
The views of mountains and Kantega Valley from Phortse Thanga is incredible. There are five lakes in Gokyo Region, one of which is near the guesthouse we’ll stay. Trek up to Gokyo Ri (5383m) which is in between Gokyo Lakes and Ngozumpa Glacier that offers the marvelous views of 8,000m peaks, like Mt. Everest (8,848m), Lhotse (8,516m), Cho Oyu (8,201m) and Makalu (8,464m) and many others above 6,000m.
Crossing the Chola Pass (5360m), glaciers and lakes, hiking up to Kalapathar (5,555m) and reaching base camp is a blissful moment and quite a feat on the trek. The mountains that surround us here is something savoring and after reaching Everest Base Camp we start walking down through Periche via the memorial pass, Thukla. The monastery of Tengboche is a well-known monastery in the region and the only one that can be seen from the summit of Mt. Everest (8,848m).
A short flight to Lukla marks the start of the Everest Base Camp Trek. The distance of base-camp from Lukla is 65km. The trail of Namche Bazaar goes along the banks of Dudhkoshi River in a valley enclosed by soaring mountains of Thamserku, Kusum Kangaroo, etc. Namche Bazaar is the center trading town of Khumbu region.
We follow the trail onwards to Tengboche, a religious place of Buddhism. The monastery of Tengboche comes abuzz for famous festivals like Mani Rimdu which falls on the 9th month of Tibetan calendar. The inspiring place gives the views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Kangtega. En route to Everest Base Camp Trek, we will see yak farms, mountain goats, and also Himalayan Thar if we’re lucky. We cross over to the Dingboche valley, then past Memorial Pass called Thukla, and treading on rocky trails by Khumbu Glacier, we reach Gorakshep. Walking in the thin air of high Himalayas is adventurous and also a lifetime achievement. Gokyo Valley to Everest Base Camp can be the best alternative of only base camp.

Lukla is the town where the plane touched the ground. It is also claiming that one of the challenging airport in the world. Jiri to Everest Base Camp trek starts from Jiri instead of Lukla. Phakding is lower than Lukla in the bank of Dudhkosi River.
Similarly, another old village is Upper Pangboche that is also not commercial. The trek provides an opportunity to collect the knowledge of Sherpa, their lifestyle, and culture.
Furthermore, the combined view of treeline, Himalayan peaks and Sherpa villages makes the trip excellent. It covers all major destinations of Everest Himalayas, so it is also known as the Everest Circuit Trek. The journey starts and ends at Lukla. Lukla is a tiny touristic city of Solukhumbu with Tenzing-Hillary airport. The first camp is in Phakding which is in the lower altitude than Lukla at the bank of Dudh Koshi river. Next day check in at Namche Bazaar (3441m) is the main gateway to Everest, and also the main trading town in the region. Visiting Sherpa villages, hiking in high altitudes and revelling in stunning views of some of the world’s highest mountains are highlights of the trek.
Gokyo (4790m) and Gokyo Ri (5383m) are amazing viewpoints of the Himalayas, glaciers, and glacial lakes. Gokyo is a valley of lakes, and Gokyo Ri gives a panoramic view of the surroundings. The next adventure Chola Pass (5360m) is a thrilling pass, which bridges Everest Base Camp (5365m) and Gokyo Valley. Everest Base Camp is the main destination of this trek, which we reach after crossing Chola Pass. We climb up to Kalapatthar to get a gorgeous view of the mountains, including Mt. Everest. Of course, these mountains are a lot higher but appear at eye level. The trip concludes after EBC once we head back down to Namche, then onwards to Lukla and a flight back to Kathmandu.
Everest Panorama trek is a trek that goes up to the viewpoint of Tengboche Monastery. From Tengboche, you can see panoramic views of Khumbu mountains. It is a week-long trek of Everest region but gives an essence of the grandeur of the Himalayas. We take a short scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Then follow the footsteps of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa to begin the trek.
Leaving the small touristic town Lukla to get to Phakding is at a relaxed pace and a perfect prelude of the trek. First, the trail goes along the banks of Dudh Koshi river and requires several crossing over suspension bridges and a steep climb to reach Namche. It is the largest town in the Everest region. Historical museums of first Mt. Everest submitter Mr. Tenzing Norgey and Sir Edmund Hillary, Sherpa culture and costume. One of the world’s highest airport Syanboche, Khumjung village, a large and oldest sherpa settlement are the main attractions to visit.
Tengboche is a hill station with the mountain lodges. It is also to the home of the largest monastery in the Everest region, which can see from the summit of Mt. Everest. Manaslu circuit trek is one of the famous trekking routes of Nepal. It is one of the Restricted Trails, which requires a Special Permit. The untouched beauty of core Nepal is found in Manaslu Trek. The local people rarely understand even the Nepali language. They have their dialects, costumes, and lifestyle.
It is not for solo trekkers, minimum of two people in a group is mandatory. Manaslu was popular for the camping trek but now it has been upgraded at the teahouse. Every town has teahouses with basic standard services. To communicate most of the town has a Wi-Fi facility and telephone networks. Spring and Autumn are the best seasons for trekking in Manaslu.

The beginning of the trail is walking through the banks of the Budhi Gandaki river. And, gradually climbs up crossing valleys and villages. The difficulty level of the trek is tough. Every day it requires a 6-7 hours walk to get next camp and more than 8hrs for the day of Larkey Pass. The trail reaches Besi Sahar after crossing Larkey La Pass (5,106m).

On the 25th April 2015 at 11:56 am (NPT) an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.8 hit Nepal. Its epicenter was Barpak in the Gorkha district with the hypocentre approximately 15km in depth. This devastating earthquake resulted in the death of 9,000 people, a further 13,000 people were injured and a total of 8 million people have been affected by this disaster. This is the worst natural disaster to strike Nepal since the 1934 Nepal-Bihar earthquake.
The reconstruction of Nepal cannot be achieved by the Nepalese people and government alone, we need your help.
