Mountain Flight

Mountain flight is a flight that flies over the Himalaya of Nepal. It takes-off and lands in Kathmandu. An hour short flight gives excellent views of the mountains. We can see the world’s highest peaks with Mt. Everest and other tallest peaks. It is also the way of exploring the Himalaya from the sky as like a bird.

Rafting

Most of the rivers in Nepal are in high current, which is very good for the rafting. Rafting in high current rivers is one of the exciting ways of traversing Nepal. The government of Nepal has permitted to operate the rafting in sixteen rivers. Among them, Trishuli River is the nearest river from Kathmandu and easily accessible. Likewise, Bhotekoshi, Karnali are also in operation.

Paragliding

Paragliding gives an excellent view of Pokhara from the sky. It is flying by a pilot and flies over the Pokhara city, Phewa Lake, and nearby mountains. It is one of the most adventure activities of the tour, which gives the eagle views of the entire valley.

Jungle Safari

  • Day 1 Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport

    Welcome to Nepal! We will receive you the airport and transport you to hotel.

  • Day 2 Everest mountain flight and guided sightseeing in Kathmandu.

    The highlight of today is the Everest mountain flight. Your guide will pick you up early in the morning and we head over to the airport for a mountain flight. The one-hour flight will take you close to the mountains for spectacular views of the mountains and awe-inspiring massifs of rocks and aerial views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Kanchenjunga and other peaks on the Tibetan border.

    After the mountain flight, we go for a sightseeing trip in Kathmandu valley, covering the following locations:

    Pashupatinath Temple (World Heritage Site) Pashupatinath Temple, most sacred Hindu shrines in the world, which is an opulently decorated pagoda. Pashupatinath is a temple of Lord Shiva and his Linga (Phallic Symbol of Lord). According to the chronology, it was erstwhile to 400AD. In Pashupatinath, you can see the creation of the dead body and devotees dips in holy river Bagmati. Just opposite the temple, there is a jungle, where you can see the monkeys, deer, and some other animals.

    Bouddhanath Stupa (World Heritage Site) Buddhanath stupa is located in the eastern part of Kathmandu city sacred pilgrim destination of Buddhist. The loom of Stupa is 36 meters in height and presents captivating specimens of Stupa design.

    Bhaktapur Durbar Square (Bhadgaon) Bhaktapur Durbar square is a durbar square, which has a collection Shikhara, and Pagoda style temples and 55-windows palace of brick and wood. The main fascination of Bhaktapur is Lions Gate, Golden Gate, Statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, art galleries, and 55 windows palace.

  • Day 3 Morning drive to Charaundi for rafting; Drive to Pokhara.

    We leave for Charaudi after breakfast in the hotel. Chauraudi is the spot where we start the thrilling rafting from. During rafting, you can enjoy the scenery and adventurous rapids you will be navigating through. Once we reach Mugling, we take a right turn and drive on to Pokhara. Beautiful scenes of farmlands and banana fields, countryside, and Marshyangdi river along the highway can be observed.

  • Day 4 Paragliding and guided Sightseeing in Pokhara

    Today you we do a spectacular 30min paragliding over Pokhara city. You can see Annapurna, Manaslu and Dhaulagiri Himalayan and beautiful lakes below like Phewa, Begnas, and Rupa. Afterward, we go for a sightseeing trip with a professional tour guide on a private vehicle.

    The main destinations are:

    Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple: These are what Pokhara is most known for – a beautiful lake with mountain views at the backdrop and a temple that sits on an island on the lake. The temple is a two-storied pagoda style temple of Hindu Goddess. We take a boat from the shores and paddle to the temple. See the reflections of Mt. Machhapurchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna on the lake.

    Seti River Gorges: “Seti” translates to “white”. The gushing white waters of the river barges through a gorge making a turbulent and majestic flow. The gorge can be seen from K.I Singh Bridge, at Bagar, Mahendrapool, and Prithvi Highway bridges.

    Davis Fall: Also known as Patale Chhango, it is a waterfall tremendously popular among both domestic and international tourists. The volume of water gushing through is really impressive, especially with the sun rays hitting the water flowing into a gorge.

    Gupteswar Cave: It is not only a cave but also a path to the famous Hindu temple of Pokhara, Gupteshwor Mahadev Temple. Devotees flock to the cave to pay a visit to the temple. The cave is almost 300m long, and in some stretches of the cave, you need to crawl on all four.

    Museums: On the tour, you visit two more different museums, one dedicated to the Gurkha Warriors who fought in the World Wars, Falkland Wars, among many other military operations around the world; and another displaying the lifestyle and history of Thakalis, Tharu, and Gurungs families, which are some of the ethnic groups of Nepal.

  • Day 5 Five-hour drive to the Chitwan National Park on a tourist vehicle

    The drive to Chitwan National Park starts here. The first couple of hours are on the same stretch as we take to Pokhara from Kathmandu. From the market of Mugling, we make a right turn and follow along the Narayani River to reach Narayanghat in about 5 hours of total driving. We reach the resort and have lunch before we set off for jungle activities inside the national park. This includes jeep safari, bird watching and jungle walk. In the evening we see the widening view of the sunset over the jungle. Inside the jungle, you can see some endangered animals like one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, Gharial Crocodile, and other many common animals and birds.

  • Day 6 Activities in the Chitwan National Park

    We have an early morning tea/coffee before we move on to more activities around the resort. We return to the resort before heading over to observe the crocodiles along the banks of Narayani River and then back for lunch. In the afternoon we resume jungle activities and walk around the jungle and go to the observation tower, a boat ride on the wide river, then back for dinner.

  • Day 7 6-hour drive back to Kathmandu on a tourist vehicle

    Finish the remaining activities, have a breakfast and get ready for the drive to Kathmandu, which is about 7 hours to get in Kathmandu. The highway is on the bank of Narayani river, the views of hills, farmland, villages and highway bazaar make your journey beautiful. When you arrived in Kathmandu you can walk around the city, and also visit the Ason Bazaar, an old market of Nepal.

  • Day 8 Drive to Kodari for Bungee Jump & return to Kathmandu and evening farewell dinner

    An early morning drive from the hotel to Kodari takes us to the bungee spot. The place can be experienced as one of the best bungee destinations in the world. After the jump, you will drive back to Kathmandu and then for dinner at a Nepali cultural restaurant with Nepali typical music and dances.

Volunteer Opportunity

We have a volunteer trip operating in a local school in Gorkha. Through this trip, you can directly support the children also the teachers’ educational status.

    In Nepal, there are two kinds of transport, public and private. We mostly recommend you to use the private than the public because the roads two ways that make traffic, and the private vehicle can avoid the traffic by choosing the proper time for less traffic.

    In Nepal, you will get the extensive food menu. From the international food menu to local foods. Dal Bhat is the main course of Nepal. Your guide will help you to choose the suitable food, on the trek and tour.

  • ALTITUDE SICKNESS

    Trekking is the popular trekking ventures in Nepal, which is always in the High Himalaya and where we have the chance to get altitude sickness. So, it is highly recommended to learn more about the High Altitude Sickness before you start the trek. Hurry can be deadly in Nepal Himalaya. Walk slow, and give enough time to your body to fit in the high altitude. Drinking more water and stepping slowly with rest is the best protection against altitude sickness.

    Sure, you can extend your entire trip and also you can do extended trip.

    Using card is not possible in all trekking town except Namche of Everest region. But in the cities you can use the cards.
  • Can I charge the batteries of cameras, phones?
    Yes, you can charge your devices, but recommended you to bring your plugs, chargers and also do not leave unattended anything while charging in a lobby or somewhere in trekking guesthouse. And if you are in camping trek it’s quite hard to charge the phone so advising to bring portable charge.
  • Is there any possibility to communicate in my hometown?
    Yes, you can. In the Everest and Annapurna region you can connect via Phone, Internet both is available in most of town and, in some remote routes you may need to use satellite phone that are carry by you trek guide or also get in the local town.
  • Do you provide any equipment for the trek?
    Apex Asia Holidays provides you a basic equipment like Sleeping Bag, Down Jacket, for tea-house trek. And for the climbing trip we provide the basic equipment. For camping trek check it once including section.
  • Is the shower facility during the tour/trek?
    Yes, you can have shower during the trek. In camping trek you will get shower in shower tent which is basically provide 3-4 times in whole trek it is depending on the duration of the trek. And in a tea-house trek we will provide you attached room where is possible and the rest of town you will payable shower.
  • What are the accommodations and meals like?
    All the meals that you provided are hygienic and fresh. While you are in camping trek you get meals prepared by professional camping cook. And if you are doing tea-house trek you will get the main course as like in the cities. For accommodation in the camping trek you will have a tent with good qualities mattress and sleeping bag. And if you are in tea-house trek you will normal twin sharing room in basic facilities with warm mattress and blanket, and also we provide sleeping bag if you need.
  • Is the drinking water okay? Or I need to use tablets?
    For drinking water you can buy bottle water that purified mineral water in tea-house trek and city tour. And in camping trek the camping cook provides you boiled water. For some case of remote area trekking it would be better to have some purification tablets that you can buy in Kathmandu.
  • How big is a group size?
    We will try to arrange small group of willing people, which immortalized the treks. Normally we encompass 12 -16 people in a group. (This is not to apply for them who want to do Private Trip, no minimum and maximum for them.)
  • Do you arrange the private trip?
    Yes, of course we will arrange private tour.
  • Should I need to join the group?
    Joining in a group is depending on your booking and option that you choose. If you have booked for Private Trip then obviously  you will not join. Otherwise normally the same trip is departing in a same day then the group will join.
  • Are the staffs insured of your company?
    Yes, all of the staffs and crew members are the insured.
  • What sort of ground transportation you use?
    Normally we assign a car up to 2 people and Jeep for up to 5 people and then Micro Bus for up to 14 PAX and Coster and Sutlej Bus depending on group size. There are some trekking routes, which are dirt road for them we assign 4WD Jeeps. It also depends on what services you opt.
  • Are the treks and tours secured? What about the security?
    Provide the security to our clients is principal of us. The government licensed holder guides and other crew members are carefully assign for your trip. Even though, would like to counsel you to take care of your personal equipment, bags. If you doing a tea-house trek your accommodation are in a local guesthouse, where you have to be precaution yourself at all time. And if you are in a camping trek always keep your own bags inside the tent and while in nighttime please keep your bag in the middle of the tent. The camping leader assigns a Sherpa as a guard throughout the nighttime.
  • Do my guide/porter speak English?
    Definitely they speak English. All the guides are professional and due to the professionalism they speak good English. The guide’s English is enough to explain about the local culture, activities, and religions.
  • Do you peak me up at the Airport upon my arrival?

  • What is the fitness required for the treks?
    Generally, to trek in Nepal we should have good physical and health condition.  And also able to walk 4- 7hrs in day at high altitude with your little backpack.
